Internationally Recognized Travel Industry Accreditation
Aurora Travel is proud to be an IATA Accredited Agent, forming part of a worldwide network of professionally recognized travel agencies operating within the standards established by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
IATA is the global trade association for the airline industry. Its airline members represent approximately 85% of global air traffic, while its Travel Agency Programme provides an internationally recognized framework connecting accredited travel agencies with airlines around the world.
IATA accreditation is more than an industry identification. Accredited agencies must meet and maintain defined professional, operational and financial requirements. IATA's framework includes requirements concerning appropriate business registration and licensing, qualified personnel capable of handling international air transportation, and financial standing.
As an IATA Accredited Agent, Aurora Travel operates within this established global framework and is identified by a unique IATA Numeric Code. Accreditation also provides access to IATA's Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), which creates a standardized system for ticketing, invoicing and settlement between accredited travel agencies and participating airlines.
